Age Verification: By placing an order with Maclaren Fine Wines, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. It is illegal for us to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18. We also require age verification on receipt of delivery.
Payment and Authorization: When providing credit or debit card details to Maclaren Fine Wines, you affirm that you are the cardholder or have explicit permission from the cardholder to use the card for wine orders. Note that even for free cases or partner gifts, card details are required.
Order Processing and Cancellation: Maclaren Fine Wines reserves the right to cancel orders for any reason. If your order is cancelled, we will promptly explain the reason and refund any payment made.
Delivery: Orders of wine in stock with be dispatched via Royal Mail Tracked 48h Age Verified delivery (Monday to Saturday) to most UK addresses, within 1 week from date of order. Delivery charges apply, but orders over £125 qualify for free delivery. We aim to meet delivery dates on a best endeavors basis. If your order is lost or undeliverable, we will send a replacement or provide a full refund. For orders taken on wines currently out of stock, we will be in contact to discuss delivery dates.
Security Checks: For security purposes, we may contact your card issuer to conduct necessary security checks.
Promotions and Discounts: Promotions, discounts, or vouchers are single use only and cannot be combined unless otherwise stated.
Product Display and Substitutions: Products on our website are displayed in real-time. We reserve the right to withdraw any product without notice. In case we cannot fulfill your exact order, we may substitute with similar wines of at least the same value.
Customer Satisfaction Guarantee: We guarantee your satisfaction with the wines you purchase. If a wine is faulty or arrives damaged, we'll credit your account for future orders.
Returns and Refunds: To qualify for a refund, returned bottles must be in their original condition with intact labels. Return requests must be made within 14 days of delivery. Refunds are processed upon receipt of the returned items.
Gift Messages: For gifts, your name and postcode will be shown under your personal message.
Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. In case of any claim or dispute, the courts of England will have exclusive jurisdiction.
